The short version. I collect one thing: your email address, so I can send you the app and write to you across the twelve weeks. Everything you log in the app — your weight, waist, lifts, photos — stays on your own phone. It is never uploaded, I never see it, and there is no account and no server holding it.
Your email address, and your first name if you give it. That's it. You give it to me when you sign up to get the app.
If you email me directly, I'll have whatever you put in that email.
Everything you enter into the app is stored in your own phone's browser storage and never leaves your device. That includes:
There is no login, no account and no database behind the app. I have no way to see any of it, and neither does anyone else. The trade-off is that clearing your browser data or losing your phone loses your log — which is why the app has a backup button. Back it up.
I don't send anything else. No daily emails, no partner offers.
My email list is run through beehiiv, an email platform based in the United States. Your email address is stored on their systems in order to send you mail. By subscribing you consent to your information being stored overseas.
The website is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as any web host does.
I don't sell, rent or share your email address with anyone. Ever. There's no version of this where that changes.
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately. You can also email me at clarkxanthe@gmail.com and ask to be removed, or ask me to delete everything I hold about you, and I'll do it.
To wipe your app data, open the app, go to Data, and tap Erase everything. That removes it from your phone permanently. There's no copy anywhere else to delete.
Your email sits behind beehiiv's account security. The app holds nothing on my end, which is the strongest privacy protection available — I can't lose what I never had.
This program isn't for anyone under 18 and I don't knowingly collect information from under-18s. If you believe a child has signed up, email me and I'll delete the record.
If I change how any of this works, I'll update this page and the date at the top, and I'll tell you by email if it's significant.
